Unfortunately, ignorant people are everywhere and in every corner of the society. They stigmatize, hate, and discriminate. Such discriminations are felt greatly by differently-abled and visually impaired individuals.
At Warming Hearts Nepal, our commitment to inclusivity and equality drives us to extend our support to marginalized communities, including differently-abled individuals and blind students who often face exclusion in society. Recognizing the unique challenges they encounter, we have partnered with local organizations to implement targeted programs aimed at addressing their needs.
One of our key initiatives focuses on providing essential support to individuals with disabilities, including nutritious food and access to medical care. Our team ensures that the food provided is specially tailored to meet their dietary requirements, promoting their overall health and well-being. By addressing these basic needs, we strive to alleviate the physical and nutritional vulnerabilities often experienced by this population.
Additionally, we are dedicated to facilitating educational opportunities for blind students, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations despite the obstacles they may encounter. Through partnerships with institutions such as Tribhuvan University and Drishti Bihin Girls Hostel, we supply educational tools and materials essential for their learning journey. This support not only empowers these students to continue their education but also fosters a sense of inclusivity and belonging within the academic community.
In our efforts to promote inclusivity, we also extend our support to care homes catering to mentally disabled children, such as the Care Home for Mentally Disabled Children in Panchkhal-11, Kavre. Here, we provide essential items and resources aimed at enhancing the quality of life for these children. By ensuring access to basic necessities and assistance, we strive to create a nurturing environment where these children can thrive and receive the care they deserve.
