Samrat was only 2 when he was diagnosed with B-cell lymphatic leukemia, just when the world was ready to unveil itself with all its beauty and melt in his little eyes. His family brought him to Kanti Children’s Hospital where he is still undergoing rigorous treatment, and the world has to wait a little.

He is now 4, fighting the terrible disease in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His arms have shrunk and they wrap around his mother, she holds him tight and manages a weak smile. Samrat’s face mirrors this smile, adding a naïve hope of his own. His treatment process proving to be effective nodded with his hope. They started to talk about returning to his hometown, Samrat thought of running, jumping, and playing with his friends.
However, pneumonia was silently growing in his immuno-deficient body and revealed itself a few days ago; he now had another battle to fight. As an immediate response, he is being kept inside the ICU. Warming Hearts has supported him throughout the journey; we won’t lose our faith and dedication in helping him fight the disease, no matter what obstacles come in the way.
We request you to keep him in your prayers. See his story as a light that shows why childhood cancer awareness and relief programs are important in our society.
